These terms and conditions apply to the rental of Ferienhaus Baumberger in Oberammergau by Thoba Reisen e.K. to the guest. By submitting a booking request, the guest accepts these terms.
The rental agreement is formed upon receipt of our booking confirmation. A deposit of 20% of the rental price is due upon booking, with the balance due no later than 30 days before arrival without further request.
The holiday house can be booked daily (minimum 2 nights); during high season it is only rentable by the week, with arrival always on Saturday. A security deposit of €200 is left on site and refunded upon proper return of the property.
If you cancel the rental agreement before arrival or fail to take up the stay, we may claim reasonable compensation according to the following scale of the rental price, unless a more favourable calculation is proven:
up to 30 days before arrival: 25%
29 to 22 days before arrival: 40%
21 to 15 days before arrival: 60%
14 to 7 days before arrival: 70%
6 to 4 days before arrival: 80%
from 3 days before arrival or no-show: 95% of the rental price
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. The statutory provisions on non-utilisation of rental services (§ 537 BGB) apply in addition.
For contracts on the provision of accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes, concluded for a specific period, there is no right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312 (2) sentence 1 no. 9 BGB.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement for a fee of €15 per pet per night. The holiday house is a non-smoking property.
The landlord is not liable for damages that are not based on intent or gross negligence. No liability is assumed for personal valuables brought by the guest. The guest is advised to take out private liability insurance.
German law applies. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
